If the Democrats bring the wine, the Republicans will bring the cheese… and hopefully someone will knead the dough because the CA state budget’s deficit is growing

Highfalutin Fabian Nuñez has unloaded $3,238 worth of French wine from his campaign fund in exchange for reimbursement from the California Democratic Party. The wine was supposed to be used at a Democratic fundraiser, but it is sitting in a wine locker belonging to his fundraiser/roommate, who also works for the state party. Some California wine was used at the event, which prompts this question, “Why was Fabian Nuñez buying wine in France when the state of California produces some of the best wine in the world?” We could use some extra dollars pumped into the state’s economy right about now, especially since California is facing a $14 billion + budget deficit. A few months back we explored his high roller ways, and this latest move by the state party seems to be an effort to deflect attention away from his spending.

Since the wine is just sitting in fundraiser Daniel Weitzman’s locker, I think that it would be appropriate to throw a budget fixing party with the California Republican legislators. Let’s put the Republicans in charge of the cheese — they know how to spread it on thick. The Democrats already have the wine, no need to spend any more money. Maybe if they think outside of the box, they can figure out how to avoid raising our vehicle license fees. Didn’t Arnold promise not to do this when we recalled Gray Davis?

The State of California has no money to reform public education and restructuring compensation for teachers. No money for expanding the UC university system, and restructuring compensation for faculty. No money for State University system, and restructuring compensation for faculty. No money to expand the light rail public transportation network. No money to expand public transportation period. No money to provide children with limited health insurance coverage. No money to expand environmental technology to the next level. No money to protect and secure public water infrastructural systems. No money to overhaul the State of California court system. No money to study ways for improving law-enforcement. No money to expand mental health care and return the homeless back to state hospitals. No money to protect the beaches. No money to return all the social services Ronald Reagan removed from the state agenda. No money to invest in technologies to relieve our dependence on fossil fuels. However, there seems to be plenty of our tax dollars available to reimburse Fabian Nunez for Fabian Nunez’s high life, and all that French wine. Why is that small-minded, self-serving, corrupt politician more important than a child seeking his place in the world? Fabian Nunez had his chance, and he chose to be delusional of his place in public life. So why do we continue investing in this man’s social activities?

This anchor baby doesn’t have a clue about public service. It’s all about his Third World mentality. More public theft just around the corner.

I think the state deficit is closer to 20 billion, and Fabian Nunez is looking for ways to double that amount, and put a billion here and there in his pocket.
