Excellent video production for Obama! Viva Obama!

February 21st, 2008 · 6 Comments

Barack Obama’s volunteers have created some great video productions. Here’s yet another one targetting Tejanos in a mariachi melody reminiscent of “Viva Chihuahua.” It’s really well done and gets to the heart of Obama’s message. If Clinton’s campaign is having luck with “Oye Hillary,” then I think that this is going to catch fire in the Lonestar state. I normally think that many of these jingles sound terrible, but I found myself singing along to this one. Thanks to las gatas for posting this on their blog.

Hola Amigos, I am a Texan latino and I love Hillary Clinton. She has stood by us her entire life. Why be against her now? That is not showing much brotherly love. Read this blog about Obama. Viva Hilary!

    Gracias! What a “feel-good” video! Move over Will.I.Am :-)
I especially liked seeing the people holding up their signs, because they looked genuinely enthusiastic. Great work!

    Dear J. Santos,

Loyalty is a valuable trait, I agree. I winced at your words, “why be against her now?” The answer is that Barack Obama is simply an exceptional person who can win the election for the Democrats and work together with the Republicans to pass legislation that will really help this country. A man like Obama comes along once in every couple of generations, and we should not miss the opportunity to help him become our next President.

Obama has energized hundreds of thousands of young people (and many older ones, too) who will work very hard to get him elected in November. Many of these people will not fight for Hillary, should she win the nomination. We can’t risk four more years of Republican governance. With Obama as our nominee, we won’t lose.

    J. Santos:

I spoke briefly with Hillary in 1992, and she was so surprised I didn’t have an accent. That told me Hillary hadn’t engaged with very many Latinos up to that point. You obviously don’t know about her history sitting on the board of Wal-Mart, the crimes of Tyson Chicken against Latinos, and her work at Rose Law firm.
