I can see him now throwing back a shot of tequila and belting out “Ay Jalisco no te rajes.” It looks like Senator Ted Kennedy has taken to singing in Texas when campaigning for Barack Obama. While his accent is thick, I give him points for trying. That he can sing this many verses of the song indicates to me that he’s heard it many times and has been practicing, not bad for an older guy from Massachusetts. Hey, he seems to be having fun.
While on topic, notice how the Irish-Americans and Mexican-Americans have many cultural similarities? Catholicism, oppression, a penchant for singing and drinking.

We must never underestimate the power of Tequila, Rum, Mariachi and a stage to climb up on.
We must also be thankful that camera phones were not yet around.

Please reenee, don’t reveal all our secrets.
I too appreciate the fact Kennedy is stumping for Obama, it makes for a better campaign.
The Irish have a lot in common with the Mexican, its an incredible Catholic fit. The church would have so much more credibility if they had put a stop to the abuse a long time ago.
But we’ve already covered that extensively.
Good video.
