Nothing is given to people of color. That's why there are laws pertaining to this, although they are rarely enforced. Obviously, you've never been told by a policeman that you're a potential criminal because your race is nothing but a bunch of criminals. Or by a Sunday school teacher, who says that skin color determines where you sit next to God. And that's what I heard as a child. You can't imagine what I hear as an adult. Economic survival is the primary cause of high school drop-outs. This second generation you speak of is also more likely to turn to gang activity and drugs because they have been neglected at home.
