Ruben Navarrette predicts that Latinos will vote for Obama

June 10th, 2008 · 3 Comments

Ruben Navarrette has an interesting commentary about how Latinos will end up voting for Obama. I agree with most of what he has to say except that John McCain would make an excellent president. He cites statistics pointing to McCain’s heavy Latino support for his re-election to the Senate where he has earned as much as 70 percent of the Latino vote. The same McCain who has embraced President Bush and his policies? More of the McSame who pledges to send unlimited troops to Iraq?

I think we need to give Obama more of a chance to launch his general election campaign before jumping to too many conclusions.

Also, I think we need to give Obama’s supporters a chance to publicize all the anti-immigrant comments and policies of “Keating Five” McCain’s primary campaign.

Doesn’t matter, both parties will say anything to get your vote…they’re all traitors.
