Clinton is no running. I am interested in what
the presumptive Demo nominee has to say about the wall . I dont want to vote for him but as I have stated the FENCE is a very big issue for me.
If Obama takes a stand AGAINST the FENCE,
I just might put a clothespin over my nose and
vote for him. Hilary’s position on the FENCE
was modified after her visit to Texas. It was in fact , one of the major reasons I supported her.
I still do.

Irma, the Sanctuary bloggers are asking the presidential candidates about the border wall. I have blogged about this before and even linked to their survey. I understand that they are still awaiting answers, but I think that Obama would be more likely to reconsider this wall than would McCain, especially coming back from Europe, where borders are more open.

I find it ironic that you, being an ardent Clinton supporter, would even make an issue out of the border wall. Don’t you remember her saying this?

“A physical structure is obviously important,” Mrs. Clinton told the New York Daily News. “A wall in certain areas would be appropriate.”

I repeat -the FENCE is a huge issue for those that are from Texas.
What does Obama have to say about that ?

One of my parents was from Mexico. Half the family is still there . I repeat – THE FENCE.

Anybody who votes for someone who won’t “rethink” the fence
is a pendejo.

This is good news. D’s need 70% (Clinton ’92 – ’96 was 80% +) to win. Obama is just about there. Where else are Latinos going go? McCain can’t offer anything and his state is harder on immigrants than any other.

Wait until the fall ads run with McCain taking every position of every issues possible and, making all those statements about what he doesn’t know.

The folks above who don’t know Latinos that will support Obama need to talk to more peoplel

Hey Panchito, Frankie, Jesus, or whatever your name may be…Whether you realize it or not, you have a lot more in common politically with WhamBama than Ralph Nader. It’s okay to admit you depend on FOX news and the O’Reilly Factor for all your information. But for you to proclaim you know millions of Latinos and they couldn’t be voting for WhamBama is beyond being dim-witted. Read a book and jumpstart that brain of yours.

Que Pendejadas! Francisco, man, you need to get out more if you don’t know any Latinos that support Obama. I am an nth gen Chicana (pre-border). I know one Latino that will vote for McCain and many more that plan to vote for Obama (and not just Chicanos). I didn’t throw away my vote before on Nader and I won’t vote for McCain. Don’t forget, he’s from that state that started the Minute Men — shoot first ask questions later (as if whitey owned the place). Oh, and Irma, no seas tan haragana, look up the original report if you want to know who they polled — usually there is a demographic breakdown. I tried to download the doc, but am away from home with a super slow connection. Con razon estamos tan atrasados si no podemos ni hacer las esfuerzas para ser informados.

Mexican- Americans in Texas? Puerto Ricans in
New York ? Cuban-Americans in Miami?

Someone should get Obama to say YES or NO on the Fence, then the Pew Center should take another poll……..

I’m not sure who they’re polling because I don’t know of any Latinos who are voting for WhamBama. I know I’m certainly not. I’d rather vote for Nader than see this person in office !!
