Barack ... the anti Christ? Sheesh talk about a new low to hit for McCain. He figures since his intelligence won't do it then why not try to scare the hell out of the American People to win the presidency.

People are all bible this and bible that ..... wake up and smell the damn roses and figure out that McCain is just doing whatever he can to win this election. If he were to succeed then we would all go under as a country with him making all the decisions while both Him and Palin sit on high.

I thought the Pope was the Antichrist!

No, wait, Martin Luther!

But Obama's not Catholic. Or Lutheran.

...oh, silly me. Osama. OF COURSE. Kinda looks like Obama, and they're both Muslim, and they both say stuff like "Death to America!" (Would that be South America? Central America? North America? Canada, right? Please say Canada...)

McCain cannot expect to be taken seriously if he stoops to this level, can he? No wonder the rest of the world is hoping for an Obama presidency!

(Final devil's-advocate: "The rest of the world"? What's that??)

And the eyes of the "world" are upon us, Americans. I'm sorry, but African Americans are the next oldest race to inhabit the what's now known as the United States. Some say that ouur sweat and blood and our dying built this nation. Let be be clear there were Americans here before any other laid claim to be American, those people were the true found of this country, the Native American. I have some of that blood coursing through my veins. For "anyone else who came in the aftermayh and lay, claim and call someone arrogant, does not know their own background. Santa Anna attempted to lay claim in his arrogance. Caucasians call Latinos "arrogant", bur since they are expected to work as slaves for slave labor rates they are welcomed with open arms. Failing to understand that your race is being pitted against another. Why is that? Cubans who "escaped" their country for whatever reason find solice here to adapt the same philospy, hate the black person. Why? Latinos, why? This is sometime I've wrestled with all my life. Why do you put in such high regard the caucasian, who uses you to no end, to serve himself? Just as they've done sine they set foot on this continent. Why?

Each year I get to celebrate Independence Day twice. On June 30, I celebrate my independence day and on July 4, I celebrate America's. This year is special because it marks the 40th anniversary of my independence.

On June 30, 1968, I escaped Communist Cuba, and a few months later I was in the United States to stay. That I happened to arrive in Richmond on Thanksgiving Day is just part of the story, but I digress.

I've thought a lot about the anniversary this year. The election-year rhetoric has made me think a lot about my native Cuba and what transpired there. In the late 1950's, most Cubans thought Cuba needed a change, and they were
right. So when a young leader came along talking about change, every Cuban was at least very receptive.

When the young leader spoke eloquently and passionately and denounced the old system, the press in Cuba and even the USA fell in love with him. They never questioned who
his friends were or what he really believed in. When he said he would help the farmers and the poor and bring free medical care and education to all, everyone believed. When he said he would bring justice and equality to all, everyone said 'Praise the Lord' finally. And when the young charismatic leader said, 'I will be for change and I will be the arbiter of that change, everyone yelled, 'Viva Fidel!'

But everyone was so excited about the change, nobody bothered to ask about the details of the change. Well, by the time the executioner's guns fell silent and the people's own guns had been taken away. By the time everyone was equal, they were equally poor, hungry, and oppressed. By the
time everyone received their free education it was worth nothing. By the time the press noticed, it was too late, because they were now working for him. By the time the change was finally implemented Cuba had been knocked
down a couple of notches to Third-World status. By the time the change was done way more than a million people had taken to boats, rafts, and inner tubes, risking sharks or drowning to escape the change. You can call those who made it ashore with us to Florida or anywhere else in the world, the most fortunate Cubans. And now I am getting a very familiar feeling that goes back to the beginning of my story.

But, we would never fall for that in America. We wouldn't put a young leader in charge of this great country who promised
change without asking: What change? How will you carry it out?
What will it cost America? Would we?

Manuel Alvarez, Jr.

Maybe not the Anti-Christ, but for sure a media created fraud that will destroy America with his socialist agenda. At least Manuel Alvarez has him pegged as do millions of Americans that can see absolutely nothing in Obamas smooth talk and arrogant behavior. As November approaches, the true Obama will be revealed to the world as the man that almost brought our great nation to its knees with his lies and hallow promises. Beware of what you wish for because you might just get it and regret it for the rest of your life.

It is a scary thing to think of what a level headed politician has to deal with to save our country and possibly the world from the self-serving wealth and power hording zealots.

I have tremendous respect for Senator Obama. In the face of horrendous attacks by his democratic teammate and the republican oppositions he maintains a respectful composure. Only to be called an elitist, arrogant, and celebrity.

It seems that if one honestly compare the character of Bush, Clinton, McCain, and Obama it is the last of these stars that shine the brightest. People are always faulting Obama for someone else's actions.

Think about it America. Hillary, the war vote, the health care failure, the plane landing, the pitbull attack against her party teammate, the use of her constituents to blackmail her democratic teammate and still she underhandedly espouses condescending innuendo. McCain, talk about flipflop, once a hero, did the wife he left think so, insecure and immature in the face of celebrity status or greatness, becoming senile or insane, and confused as to whether he is a presidential candidate or a comedian. George Bush, two words - outrageous fool.

Now Senator Obama is a man's man who is actually educated by the colleges he attended. And, if America is smart enough to elect him, he is willing to use the intelligence to improve our quality of life

We should all be very concerned. This country is full of extremely stupid people who will continue to fall for the Rove tactics, and who will never understand that we need a change from the current criminal and inept administration whose hideous policies would simply be extended with McBush.
