They’re creating these public sector jobs to stimulate the economy. The anti-government ideology that we’re heard since 1980, has failed. As long as you vote for Republicans, the government and the economy won’t work. How many economic crashes have to take place until people get it? The whole reason their party exists is to destroy the public sector. You see, I remember how good it was before Republicans took over everything.

Will someone please explain what a “green economy job” is. It sounds like another federal job to increase the size of our already too massive government. Another such branch of the government is the Department of Energy which was established in the 70s. It purpose, get this, was to relieve our dependency on foreign oil. Thats worked out real well hasn’t it? A down sized government is a better solution than creating more government branches that do not accomplish their goals.

This is what happens when a politician has strong convictions that favor the People. In this case, Hilda Solis’ plans to revitalize union labor and institute livable wages, which is obviously a threat to most of those GOP Senators blocking her nomination. Change and the ambition to force change scare the powers that be. This is a public servant you should take note of, and admire only because they are so rare.

Don’t hold your breath…since he got the latino vote, i’ve seen little to believe he’s going to throw his weight to help (latinos) her get in. He helped his new Treasurer, we’ll see if she’s that important to him too.
