As the Titanic sinks (U.S. econony), focusing on the kind of pattern dress worn by one of the ship hands (the pregnancy of a Latina member of Congress), it seems that you are ringing the S.O.S alarm bells not because the ship has just hit a gigantuan iceberg, but because the flowery dress is not per nominal dress code. The dress code violation amidst the impending trajedy just seems small.

The dress code violation on, say the Queen Mary, may, and I stress this, may make more sense, but it still misses the mark. It turns out the this deck hand (member of congress) happens to be one of the most effective members of the ships staff and is working on vital projects that in fact will turn over to the proper authorities documents laying the ground work for making the case against the ship’s officers, maybe even the previous captain of the ship, laying the ground work for proving intent to commit crimes against the guests on board.

And so again, violation of the dress code is rendered meaningless in the face of her tasks to uncover such crimes.

Congresswoman Linda Sanchez’s pregnancy is nobody’s business except hers and her partner. On behalf of our business, she is carefully, methodically and cautiosly working as a member of the House Judiciary Sub-Committee to collect information on Karl Rove and company paving the way for possible criminal investigation.
