Out of the two Sanchez sisters in Congress, I tend to think that Rep. Linda Sanchez seems to be a little stronger on policy issues than her sister, Loretta. She took time out to introduce her new baby on the house floor a few weeks ago. Note how she thanks the doctors who cared for her and her new child. It is my hope that she is inspired by her maternity care to ensure that other Americans receive the same opportunities in producing healthy children. She has access to some of the best care taxpayer money can buy, whereas so many women are now using public health clinics, medicaid, or forgoing critical maternity services. Here is a link to some of her positions on health care. Sometimes a life changing event like birthing a child can give someone a completely different perspective or inspiration.

She had the medical attention of health care workers coast to coast. Our taxes buys government officials some of the best health care available…

What she should’ve said was:
“Let me stop the business of state, so I can thank the taxpayers for buying me the best prenatal care in the world, and financing my high risk pregnancy, and still continue to pay me my exorbitant salary, while I learn how to submit my obscene living expenses to the GAO like my sister Low-Low does so cleverly. Now that I have a real live baby and a real old white husband, I am less likely to emulate my sister Low-Low and wreak havoc destroying other families by taking other women’s husbands. Thank you taxpayers and god bless America.”

Observing Linda Sanchez’s political behavior now for several years has convinced me she probably doesn’t even read the few bills she votes on. I am sure her high risk pregnancy forced her to hang out with Grace Napolitano, and they probably took turns looking out for each other while they napped in one of the spare cabinet rooms on Capitol Hill. I can see by Linda Sanchez’s new hair coloring, she’s probably buying Mary Kay hair products from Grace Napolitano and charging it to the taxpayer. Nevertheless, with Congressional representation like this, the Latino community is guaranteed to remain at the bottom of America’s social class, enslaved to these wannabe Spanish aristocrats pretending to be looking out for our political interests. How inappropriate is so correct Michaelr

Though I think Congress should be reminded of humanity as they decide policy issues that affect real people, I hope she wasn’t using her baby for rhetorical effect. If so, then this is something Glenn Beck might do.
If just a sincere introduction, then good for her.

How inappropriate is doubly correct Michaelr, especially when you consider the limited legislative activity on Linda Sanchez’ part throughout her public career. Tireless accountability to your constituents should be the behavior here, not country club attitudes in introducing the next generation to the private club. Maybe this public priority deficit that plagues Low-Low is shared through their DNA with Linda Sanchez. Whatever it may be, something has to change in DC.

How wonderful that she is introducing her newborn to politics. I would hope she buys “The Waxman Report” (new book by Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif.). Might help in explaining to Joaquin “how to get things done in U.S. politics”…..

“Sometimes a life changing event like birthing a child can give someone a completely different perspective or inspiration.”
Yes, it definitely can. But will this cause her to change her position on abortion, and become right-to-life?

Forget explaining anything related to politics to Joaquin. Instead Linda Sanchez should read, “The Waxman Report,” so she can figure out how to pass legislation, since she is clueless about getting anything done in Congress.

Another non-descript entity taking up space in Washington DC.
