Re: "No the Democratic establishment wants Latinos to vote and be faithful to the party but the Democratic party betrayed the trust."

I agree. Without us they would not have the White House or control of Congress.

I have already changed my registration to Independent. If more people did that, they could not write off some districts as "safe."

Safe districts are ignored.

Yes you have spoken too liberally El Cholo. You’re referring to a person who says ethnicity is more important than the content of character. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that thirty seconds of verbal engagement with Loretta Sanchez, will tell you what a deceitful, and slimly, self-serving person she is. Forty-five seconds of verbal engagement with Joe Baca will tell you there’s not much working upstairs. Sixty seconds of verbal interaction with Antonio Villaraigosa will tell you that this vato is way over his head running the city of Los Angeles. And after sixty-five seconds of verbal engagement with Gil Cedillo, you will have to remove his hand from your coat pocket. And the list is endless with politicians.

Interesting the the article makes reference to the race in my area know as the 32nd Congressional District. the statement" a Latino majority district voted for an Asian". This was not a legal election there was so much arm twisting and absentee ballots delivered to the precinct it was a circus. I was raised during the 60's my last last name Scholl is by marirage. Well I remember when Latinos were not allowed to swim in public pools, our young Latino American born of Mexican decent were drafted before their 18 birthday and if there were any civil rights well they did not exit in our barrios.
Every position in the political arena was a fight we had to prove that we were twice as good twice as smart and twice as American. What happened on May 19 is that we were unseated.
The Democratic party paid no attention to the Latino candidates. the Democratic party pushed the card and said nope no longer is a Latino welcomed here.. So I ask would this have been the case in in other areas nope Ridley Thomas replaced Burk. Laura Richardson replaced Mcdonald. No the Democratic establishment wants Latinos to vote and be faithful to the party but the Democratic party betrayed the trust. So where is the immigration reform that was promised? Democrats hold the majority in both houses and how does that help us?
Military families are separated due to immigration laws . So where are our leaders what happened to the ire in the belly th race to political equity?

Power broker? Loretta Sanchez doesn’t even know what that phrase means. Why don’t you run for office? Instead of constantly defending these brainless public thieves, you could see how reform and change is so desperately needed in the Latino community. Ooopps, maybe I spoke to liberally here.

Hopes she run. Then she can attend a picnic like the recent one sponsored by the PDA of Orange County. When I attempted to ask her about her alleged adulterous affair, I was asked to leave. Hey I will sponsor a picnic or an event, invite her and ask my reasonable question.

There goes Low-Low spouting more word games about what she may appear to be on paper. Moderate? There’s nothing moderate about her politics or her public behavior, or the minimal times she actually votes on Capitol Hill. Low-Low has no political ideology, other than what’s free for Low-Low, and how much can I steal from the taxpayer, and I like doing those prayer breakfasts with all those white men in the GOP. Her non-committal mentality reflects her politics, which clearly means she stands for nothing but herself. Waiting for the print media to confirm her character issues, and her lies she readily conveys to the public will never happen. This is why she continues to occupy space in Washington.

She should run. That would force her to come clean or at least deny the allegations. If the mainstream media smells blood, they'll make her do it.
