I was asked by one of her staffers to introduce Loretta Sanchez as the “Honorable Congresswoman from California,” and I couldn’t stop laughing after hearing that request. Well I didn’t introduce her as the “Honorable Congresswoman from California, and this obviously set the tone for Loretta (Brixey) Sanchez’s speech, which only lasted six minutes after we had allocated her thirty minutes to share her thoughts and insights on several challenges facing the Congressional Armed Services Committee. She didn’t take that same condescending tone she does in the YouTube video with our group, but rather she seemed intimidated. It seems Loretta likes to get her ya-ya’s out lecturing to religious, lower class, uneducated groups flaunting herself as some person of substance. The Dream Act volunteers that have spoken at our offices say she does the same thing to them, and they are routinely offended and these are high school and college aged children trying to elevate themselves from their current social class through higher education which is supposed to increase their vocational opportunities. There was an opportunity for her to raise donations and contributions for her campaign and the DNC, but her performance was so superficial, she turned a lot of contributors off. I can see why she turns to Hugh Hefner and that social environment to always raise funds for her campaigns. She has got to be one of the most superficial and duplicitous Congress people on the Hill. And that’s the type of politician we don’t want, or need any longer if we’re to repair the mistakes of the last eight years.

That’s Anna the Apologist making excuses for Low-Low Sanchez…again. As if Low-Low is benefiting any of her constituents in the first place or the Latino political community in general. In fact, Loretta Sanchez, like Anna the Apologist, represents all the inept and blind actions of an ethnic community wallowing in complete political ignorance. I would like to think Loretta Sanchez sends a check to Anna the Apologist for all her inane and ignorant commentary. But I am sure Anna the Apologist’s belief that a brown politician, no matter how lazy, and slimly they are, is always better than a non-brown politician. So there you have it.

Attention whore? That’s putting it nicely, but she’s worse than that. There is nothing remotely Democratic about Loretta Sanchez’s lackadaisical tenure in Congress. Her relationship with the Congressional Blue Dogs clearly displays what she’s all about. And she’s all about doing nothing but collecting that paycheck.

What does unload mean in Chicago?

"I wish Low-Low was a man so I could really unload on her"
Kaiser--I don't think you thought that one out before you typed it. ;-)

But I do agree with your general point.

Anyone…any candidate from the GOP, the Green Party, the Independents, the Socialist Party would be a better public servant than this public thief representing California’s 47th Congressional district. I wish Low-Low was a man so I could really unload on her, but I am convinced the voters in that district deserve so much better than this lazy, stupid, attention whore.

Since there is little or nothing about Latinos in the media, I would not be surprised if the Republicans think they can target her based on your blog and the ramblings of that fool Arrellano.

If she is targeted, I wonder if the DNC will fight for the seat? Since Obama got elected, we have lost a US Senator and a member of Congress. I don't really trust the Dems anymore. We'll see what they do.

Actually, I’m surprised the GOP would even bother to spend the money and make the effort to replace her. When Loretta Sanchez is actually around to vote on the Hill, she usually votes with the Republican Party on nearly every issue anyway. You’re right…Low-Low began her political career as a Republican, and we shouldn’t be surprised if she switches back to the GOP. Except of course that requires effort and Loretta Sanchez isn’t into making efforts on anything, other than to get those Holiday cards out every year. The California 47th Congressional district has been maligned even more so with her performance and inactivity on the Hill, and her dizzy ethics and the lies she promotes to all those students looking for inspiration and guidance. She just takes up space anyway. If she had any self-dignity she should retire and walk away and let someone else more committed do the job. She has fleeced the American taxpayer long enough.
