Well, this time I can say that Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez has made a better choice with her 2009 holiday card, sending it out as a PDF instead of spending thousands on printing and mailing. Last year, I know that I wasn’t the only one who was concerned about the high cost of this vanity mailing, not to mention the wasted trees on a card that is likely headed to the trash a few weeks later. Congresswoman Sanchez also stated that she would donate the money saved from printing and mailing the card to needy non-profit organizations in Orange County. Clearly, this is a more positive thing to do with her campaign cash during the holiday season.

Really, does this lady do any work with substance? Instead of going green, miss sanchez should think about getting some real work done.

Now I know where her campaign staff dollars go! She is dressed to the nines while the majority of her constituents cannot afford suitable housing, clothing or an education. Oh well a husband stealing woman looks the same whether straddled over a motorcycle or in a slinky cheap gown.

I liked the spoof holiday card better. That was a more accurate description of what Loretta Sanchez really is…all superficial and phony.

Umm, so Loretta Sanchez actually saved the taxpayer money by going green, and then gave taxpayer money away to a “needy” non-profit organization. If your non-profit, how can you be needy?

She did make a better choice this year and I guess it is a “big surprise”. Now it would be nice surprise to hear about her work on any of the following issues: the economy, health care, the wars that seem to have no end, education, energy policies, national security, immigration, environmental issues…..the list goes on and on. Hope she picks one…

On the last post I said she might give up the card in a clever campaign move (“Maybe she’ll drop the card this year because of the recession…that would be a clever campaign move to get good press”). But after I wrote that I thought to myself: “she’s not that smart.” She clearly has a smart staffer we did not know about…Maybe it’s the one who is tweeting for her.

Dear Congresswoman Loretta,
Greetings for Christmas & the Holiday Season.
It is a beautiful card. Like it very much. It portrays Loretta in the Spirit of Christmas. One who is very sure of the Grace of God on USA, now and in future. One who relies on the resilience of our country to come back forcefully and enjoys even in troubled times with merry abandon. This is what currently most of us Americans need – happiness, confidence, reliance and hope.

This is probably someone on her staff. Or maybe it’s the Latino apologist doing a bad impression of a deranged voter.

Well, apparently the rumor that Loretta’s boyfriend would appear on her holiday card this year turned out to be untrue. That’s definitely not Jack Einwechter dancing with Loretta. Either he can’t dance or Loretta has moved on (or both). If they were the long-term committed partners that we thought, surely he would be on her holiday card by now (after 7 years). One thing is obvious: her cat is more important to her life than he is.

It’s always fascinating to watch such a human lowlife parade her values onto the public stage. It would be purely comical if she was a celebrity of some sort. But she’s a public servant, and therefore the U.S. taxpayer is funding all this ego celebration. And that’s what makes her so repulsive.
