Senator Reid to bring DREAM up for vote as Stand-alone Bill

November 17th, 2010 · 3 Comments

This is breaking news via the Immigration Reform Advocacy group, America’s Voice. Senator Harry Reid will bring up the DREAM Act for a vote as a stand-alone bill after the Thanksgiving recess. Getting this bill through both houses and onto President Obama’s desk would be a monumental win for the Latino community, but it’s going to require all hands on deck. So I encourage everyone to follow America’s Voice and DREAMActivist for more details about what actions you can take to make the DREAM a reality.

Are there going to be enough votes?

Again gente, it’s all smoke and mirrors, he will go up to the attempt, but it will be squashed. Then he will tell everyone he tried, and set blame toward the opposition, its all in Politics 101. The reality it conflicts with Federal Law, you’ve been dupped again but he got our vote.

This is what they will be focused on if the Dream Act fails. Getting Obama to sign a moratorium on deportations. More gimmicks…

I still think Gutierrez is Obama’s front man on this issue.
