Coming soon: a Loretta Sanchez golf tournament, a Loretta Sanchez Halloweeen fundraiser, perhaps a few trips to the Playboy Mansion to butter up Hef and more because she’s left with almost zero campaign funds. As mentioned earlier in the week, campaign treasurer Kinde Durkee has been accused of defrauding her clients. Durkee is supposed to be released on bond.
Sanchez sent out a message to her supporters earlier this week indicating that she will continue moving forward despite this set back. She’s in a great position to weather this given her incumbent status and how easily she beat Van Tran in the last election cycle.

Why are you focusing only on Sanchez? Senator Feinstein’s funds were wiped out too.

When the story first came out, it hasn’t yet been revealed that Feinstein lost all of her funds. And as you might suspect, this blog is not a full time endeavor, so sometimes things aren’t updated as quickly as I would like, but yes, Feinstein lost her funds too:

The bigger issue is why Sanchez, Feinstein and others would continue to trust this woman with this kind of money when she had already been fined in the past:

This is off topic, but here is some interesting film I found online. It’s of JFK, Jackie and LBJ in Houston on November 21, 1963 addressing members LULAC.

It looks like voters in California’s 47th Congressional district now see Loretta Sanchez for the dead weight civil servant that she is. Fourteen years of napping on Capitol Hill, dating and marrying lobbyists, have not benefited a living soul in the 47th district.

Outside of the Labor Unions, who is irresponsible enough to give their hard earned money to Loretta Sanchez? And that says something about those Labor Unions who dole out members’ contributions to her in particular. Hugh Hefner’s interests in Loretta Sanchez only surface when he’s intoxicated and not wearing his glasses. Since 1997, this supposed Congressional representative has milked the taxpayer, and given nothing back in return. Who gives money to this person?
