With it now being mid-summer, a lot of people are taking vacations. It can be hectic getting ready for a trip, especially when it comes to packing beauty products, but there are a few things that I try to take to minimize having any disasters.

Right way, to get around the TSA liquid/gel issue and to save room in my plastic baggie for the things I really want to take, I opt to take a solid deodorant and a small bar soap. So once the cleansing agent is taken care of, you can move onto other things. Like packing the appropriate sunscreen, makeup remover, tinted moisturizer, and travel makeup palette. Palettes are perfect for travel because you can arrange a selection of colors for eyes, cheeks, and lips.

Packing wisely is the most important tip to avoiding a beauty disaster while traveling. Being mindful of your skin care and carefully packing your color cosmetics are two of the most important things. If you carefully select your products, you can get away with carrying less.

And finally some last minute tips, don’t undergo any harsh skin treatments prior to your vacation, especially if spending time in the sun. This means ease up on the peels, chemical exfoliants, etc. Make sure you are get plenty of rest and stay hydrated during your vacation. While many indulge in drinks while on vacation, alcohol is drying. Be sure you are drinking plenty of water. Your skin will thank you.
